Does anyone have experience of using MMS195 to archive MITTRA records?
It is possible that I am working on the wrong assumption but I am expecting to archive records up to a certain date and a new balance transaction would be created to record the closing balance of on-hand units as of that date.
I know that there are additional checks that the function makes to determine if an item is archived but the items that have been archived I am seeing some strange results where:
- Opening Balance record does not match the some of the units that were archived
- Opening Balance record gets the date of the next non-archived transaction for that item - so if I archived as of 12/31/08 then all records up to that date are archived but the opening balance record gets a date of 12/27/10 which is the earliest date of non-archived records.
I would expect to be able to run functions such as CAS530 and get the same balance as of 12/31/08 after archiving is complete.
