We had to create several fields on the position and while they pull onto the work assignment when the value is changed on the position, they do not show history of the changes on the work assignment, so we can't see what the value was prior and the date the change happened. I am being told now that in order to default the value to the work assignment they had to make it a derived field and you cannot track history changes on these fields. I do not see where the fields can be added to the position default rules and defaulted from there. Those fields show history on the work assignment and default the value when the change is made.
We need the same thing to happen with these added fields. Has anyone defaulted created fields in and have been able to create history on the work assignment for these fields?
