We have quite a few Views in our Data Lake. We use them to return data in our IPA flows. I know that Views are shown in the Data Catalog and can also be seen in Compass.
I would like to back up the Views regularly in case one gets changed inadvertently. Sometimes, someone runs an "Alter" command when testing and it overwrites the view.
They can be copied and pasted somewhere, but that is not always reliable.
Does anyone know of a good way to back up Data Lake views automatically? I'm posting here because I thought it might be able to be done in an IPA.
