Who wins? Question about Allocation tie-breaker when material arrives.

Good Afternoon,

Quick question over material allocation when shortages are resolved.

Say I've got a shipment coming in for 100 pieces of an Item...and I have long list of customers in MMS080 waiting for that material.

When the material arrives, it appears as if the allocations are made based on the Confirmed / Planning date and time...correct?

What if the Date and Time are the same? Is there a Tie Breaker?

Are there other options to put into effect to rank the allocation?

Look into MMS189 - batch reallocation. You can make rules based on customer / order priority, etc.

Automatic allocation can be determined by:
