Using CRS945 to decide where a Pick List is printed.

Is it possible to direct a pick list print job to use CRS945 to decide which printer to print to?

We currently use MNS205, and only have 1 warehouse. We need to decide based upon the user id which printer is used. This is ok when release for pick occurs, but subsequent allocation to a CO automatically print using the system user MOVEX. We cannot use the MOVEX record as we are multi facility. Also we would like all the Mail to / printer destination to appear on one XML document so we can use logic within that document. Using CRS945 should allow this?

This is not possible in Configuration as per my experience. We did a similar requirement using MEC and ION coding.

Hi Derrick,

We have set something up that is very similar to your scenario.

Try using MWS145. On the E panel you can link Doc 120 MWS435PF to "Location" which calls the MNS205 setup.

thank you for this tip. we also used an shareware software to distribute the picking list and it is not very efficient. we will give a try with your suggestion.
