where can I adjust the printer tray?
Legacy Contributor
Hey guys,
I don't know if this is appropriate posting it here since I am new since today.
I've tread to find solutions or KB articles about automaticly selecting the right printing tray, but I could'nt find it.
I've added a new printer soley for printing on company paper and have selected tray 2 as the standard printing tray. this works on the windows server when I print a test page.
I changed both the 'preferences' as the 'default preferences' in windows.
but when printing from the worktop ithe printer says it wants stickers/labels.
All paper tapes are set to unspecified. I have to press ok to continue and then it prints from tray 3.
anyone an idea where to look?
thnx in advance.

Hi Rick,
I just had a similar problem under Baan IV c4. The solution was to adjust the printer driver.
I am not sure if this is still the same under Infor LN but it is worth a try.
In the BSE path of your installation goto /lib/printinf/ and the according sub-directory (e.g. /h if you are using an HP printer). Here you will find the printer drivers used by Baan/Infor.
Depending on your printer you will have to check which file to modify (I suggest copying it and then trying different settings).
Good luck,
Colin
