Can we process a RO via MMS100 of a container managed item in status 1?

We have one container managed item, say Part No. X001, in status 1 with 100 cases on hand. We wish to make a Requisition order for ten of those hundred cases.

Is there a way possible to process a RO via MMS100 of 10 cases despite the fact that the status of balance ID is 1?

Provided you're in M3CE and you want it done automatically, you should take a look at the item/warehouse record in MMS002/G and check this if this parameter is set:

If you 'just' want to allocate manually, then check CRS701.

Thanks for your prompt response Martin but it's not working for us. By doing MMS002/G settings also, we are unable to create a RO as we are getting the same error as we were getting earlier "The Lot number is not reported in the PM-module".

Check if CAS950 has been run.

Also, you might have to run PMS130 to finalize Put Away if it is QA Inspected.

Thank you Rene for your response. So, it clearly means that we can't do a RO until/unless the balance ID is in Approved-2 status.
