I enabled auditing on several IBT fields. Ooof was this a mistake. We are on 9.0.8 SP11 and apparently auditing is not so spectacular. I recently took over this site and am new to Visual. Every entry in the History_data table is now referencing the QRP's and RPT_AUDIT for the action. We're on SQLServer, are there specific triggers that are called for CUST_ORDER_LINE on INSERTS, UPDATES and DELETES and if so is it possible to re-trigger these somehow? I'm trying to recover the HISTORY_DATA because the previous IT Manager has all the Monthly Booking and Backlog reporting done off of a table that is fed from the history_data table along with joins to cust_order_line, customers etc. I do have an incident open but am on day 4 of "we're looking into it..."

Ok for those that end up here doing a search. I resolved the issue myself. I noticed in the HISTORY_DEFINITION table I had entries for several items that had been audited in the past. However since audit appears to be problematic in 9.0.8 SP11 we are not running it. However, if you flip the flags from 'N' to 'Y' in HISTORY_DEFINITION a "soft" audit occurs. Example: 

TBL_NAME COL_NAME COL_TYPE FOR_INSERT FOR_UPDATE FOR_DELETE
CUST_ORDER_LINE ACK_ID STR Y Y Y

To correct my remaining issue where I was missing history_data, I was able to do an export from cust_order_line. From there I wrote the data to HISTORY_DATA matching up the columns I needed.
