Trying to Add Allowances to Rehire Resource Form

Good Morning, our HRIS team has asked that the Allowances section that exists on the HireResource form also be added to the RehireResource form. When I try to copy the code from the HireResource form into the RehireResource form, I get an invalid relation message. Is there something simple I am missing? The two forms belong to the same Employee Business class so I'm not sure why it's telling me there's no relation? Thank you in advance for any assistance.

The issue is EmployeeAllowanceGroups is defined as a parameter on the HireResource action but not the RehireResource action. Enhancement request 103157 was created to address this type of scenario. Its current status is In Development.

The work around is to utilize transient user fields. In this scenario, the challenge is EmployeeAllowanceGroups is defined as an array (ie. occurs 10 times) and is the representation of a field that's representation of 12 fields.

If you want to duplicate the exact functionality of the Hire form, I would seriously consider waiting for the Infor update that contains the ability to define parameters.

The other option is to review how your company utilizes/assigns allowances and gather the requirements for what is needed and then determine if you can build a few transient fields that will provide that functionality vs trying to mimic the exact functionality Infor delivers with this parameter field. For example, do you need to assign multiple allowances at rehire or just one, do you define by Job or Org Unit, do you define date range. All of these items are within the field group and if not needed do not necessarily need to be built out.
