M3CE XML stream to ION

Dear all,

I am looking for a way to send a xml stream file to ION.

At the moment I am investigating two ways to do it :

- create a different document type than the MDS_TemporaryFile in IDM to be able to selectively activate a syncContent Bod, while it seems possible in IDM, I can't find a way in M3 to choose what document type is used when a stream is sent to IDM.

- setting a specific service in MNS204/MNS216 to targer ION instead of IDM, I am totally unsure that this would be possible, but this would be given my context the prefered solution.

Does anyone here has a succesful experience on this subject ?

Hi Jérôme,

XML files are sent to the CFT folder m3prints. You can share this folder on the enterprise connector and create a connexion point in ION to receive this ANY document

For example, ION took an XML file from m3prints and converted it into AnyDocument

I have a newbie question: How do you share a folder through EC?

Hi Tim,

Connect to the EC, right-click on the folder + properties then "sharing". It's a windows share.
