Custom Group Listing

Has anyone come up with a way to pull who is in a custom group? Like the HR255 report in S3. Only way I have found is to do a preview on the custom group and then export the list. That can be very time-consuming to do all the groups. Need to find a way so we can do an audit at go-live.

I know S3 they are stored in a table, and I can even pull them with ODBC connection. I have not found a business class with the same information.

to make sure i understand the question - are you wanting to see the custom group information as far as criteria how the group is configured? or are you wanting to export the records based on the custom group config? if the second then i would recommend creating an ipa to quickly export your results based on your criteria versus going through GHR/custom groups, preview' loading the page and then exporting as CSV/etc format.

Hi.. actually, both would be nice. However, I was asking about the second one. The list of employees taht meet the custom group config. I want to be able to audit after migration to pull a list form S3 and V11 for the same group and make sure the group in V11 is pull the same employees. Since groups are used in so many areas and custom groups are so different in setup then employee groups. We have many embedded groups in S3.

Hi Noe... can you please clarify the criteria for the IPA. Are you saying we need to hard-copy the group criteria in the IPA and create an IPA for each group? Or can it pull the criteria based on the group from the custom group setup for groups included in the IPA... example. pull all groups starting with BN (benefit custom groups) and it will pull the criteria for each group as it processes that group and list the employees that meet the criteria?

Is this something you have done and would you be willing to share how you did it.

Looking for something similar to the PGEMPLOYEE table in S3 that stores the employees for each group.
