PPS330 - Receipt Deletion

Hi all,

We have come across an issue where after deleting a receipt in PPS330, the user will F3 from PPS330 which brings up the "Confirm Output" screen.

If the user doesn't "Confirm Output" and instead presses F3 or F12, it doesn't create the CAS300 entries.

Does anyone know whether we can somehow ensure that the CAS300 entries are always created, either by forcing the user to "Confirm Output" or bypass that screen altogether whilst still ensuring the CAS300 entries are created?

Did you run cas950?

Ian - CAS950 generates the CAS300 records. In this case, the source for the entries should be MITTRA (MWS070). You should be able to search by PO and check if field Accounting Number is populated. If it is 0 then CAS950 needs to be run for the relevant Transaction Date to pick up the entries.

There is also a setting in CAS900 - parameter 065 that determines if CAS950 should run after goods receiving for the PO. This is a PO deletion so I'm not sure if that setting applies but it sounds like your user is not exiting the screen correctly so the call to run CAS950 is not happening.

However, it shouldn't be an issue as you still should have a scheduled CAS950 instance running each night.

Yes, but the issue is that the CAS300 records are never generated, so they are never picked up by CAS950.

Iain, does the user need to be able to change the output defaults? If not then just disable Confirm output for these docs in MNS204.

Thanks Simon, you are exactly correct. It seems our issue actually revolves around one of the accounting rules in the end.
