How do you manage shared supplies?

We have instances where multiple departments share a supply closet. While they have unique supplies, they also have supplies which are shared amongst all.

Is there a way to automate the percentage sharing of the account distributions when ordering via par count or template?

I am only familiar with how to manually do this (screenshot below), but we would want this to occur automatically.

Hello Ryan,

There is a way to prebuild the split between various accounting units (or however you define these) using a Payables Distribution Code.

Once you build it, I believe the requisition line has a field for the code you defined.  I'm not sure if the template line has a field for this, but you might be able to add it there as well to save time.  I'll attach a sample file here with two tabs - the first is to define the header of the code, then you add the details of the split.
