Is anyone currently running Version 9 at higher that the 2016 recommendation?
Generally if you run at newer versions of SQL Server you're ok; Are you running 9.0.8 and looking to upgrade to SQL Server 2017/2019/2022? There should be no deprecations that are applicable to V9; also remember you can upgrade to a newer version of SQL Server but keep your current db compatibility level at SQL 2016 if you want to.
Thanks so much for the quick answer. Yes we are looking to upgrade to Windows 2019 and Sql 2019.
I believe when we upgraded to V9 we were still using SQL Server 2014, we later upgraded to SQL Server 2019 before the upgrade to Visual 10, no issues in that regard. All of that was on Windows Server 2019 as well. We'll probably be upgrading to Windows Server 2022 and probably SQL Server 2025 after it's been out for a few months
Again thank you so much, this is very helpful!
