we have many employees that enter the SSN incorrect and dont find out until payroll? Are there any checks to verify and validate SSN entries during the boarding processes?
we have an integration with Tracker I-9 as part of our preboarding process. As a part of our hire process, we have a final HR reviewer/approver who has access to Tracker. As a part of that final review, she does a check of the SSN to confirm that the 2 values match (between Tracker and the hire form). We also have asked that our Talent Acquisition team not move the hire step forward until *all* of the preboarding activities are complete. It doesn't prevent the occasional issue from slipping through, but most are caught ahead of the hire/rehire (and the integration running to payroll).
