Historical Reporting in Infor

Hello,

We have had more and more requests for historical reports.

An example request we often get is:

• I need a report to show people have even been in job code xxxx or department xyz, including start and end dates.

We lean on our D&A partners to build most of these requests in Power BI but we would rather be able to pull the data ourselves from our source system. We do not currently use Birst. 

Are there any current or future tools we can leverage? For anyone who is using Birst, have you had any luck leveraging Birst to pull this type of historical data?

Hi Rebecca,

Have you had an opportunity to review the two reports we deliver under Administrator > Reports > Employee > Organization Unit Changes or Administrator > Reports > Employee > Position Changes

These are two columnar reports we deliver.  They are currently behind a toggle that would need to be enabled under Administrator > Utilities > Feature Toggle .  The feature is Columnar Reports October 2023 CU Release.  I can provide you the key to enable the toggle if you currently don't have it enabled.  

Because they are columnar reports, you will need to run the replication set.  Instructions on how to accomplish this is contained in the training videos.
