GHR Turnover Settings For Calculations In Birst

Is anyone familiar with this setting in GHR?

And what it feeds in Birst? I am thinking employee churn reports, but wanted to reach out in the hope that someone out there might be more familiar. We have a client who is asking if they should turn on the 'Enable Termination Date Correction'.

and yes, I believe it feeds the "Turnover" category of reporting in Birst. We have been looking at these reports and would love to see them add a Turnover setting that would allow the ability to choose options for the calculation. Today, it uses the count at the end of a period. We would like to be able to use an average (beginning of period + end of period/2) instead.

Thank you Karen, I will definitely check out Infor U. And I just did extensive data validation for turnover reporting in Birst and maybe they just changed it, but the turnover denominator now uses AVG Employee Count by SnapShot Month, which is a calculation based on the actual days of the month an employee was active. Please see the chart below.

Total records is more than the sum of AVG employee count. And AVG employee count for employee 410588 is only .20 which is the equivalent of 9/20/2023 to 9/25/2023.

The Enable Termination Date Correction toggle, when enabled, will impose a structure for correcting an existing Termination Date. When enabled, the user can still make a change to their selected Termination Date field, but it is done in a more controlled manner. And, when this occurs, a Tag of Corrected is automatically applied to the previous Termination. For New Hire, Rehire and Termination events, HR Talent Analytics will ignore the records that have a Tag=Corrected.
