Very large nominal ledgers.

Does anyone have first-hand experience with customers who would have nominal transaction record counts in the 1-2 million range ?

VFP can handle the record count - I was wondering what things like nominal period ends are like?

Hi

I have one with 6.2 million ish about 90+% max dbf size for NTRAN. they have not complained about perioed end.

I am out of the office until next week, but can ask when I get back if you want.

Run on a standalone machine with 7200rpm SATA disk 2GB RAM Win XP Pro SP3

Time less than 4 minutes for NL Period end

NTRAN 6184655 records
current year 441080
previous year 784093

the largest impact seems to be the current year transaction going by the dialogs displayed during period end ie. record ????? of 441080
