Understanding OSASTD

Hello

Can anyone explain how the entries in OSASTD are done with regards to when does the updates stop in OSASTD and start going in OSBSTD.

WE have invoiced transactions in OSASTD and we were under the impression that after delivered, it isn't in OSASTD; in addition we have found invoiced records where the delivery was not in OSASTD.

from what i have seen in OSASTD (order statistics) you see all the changes of the order lines. from the moments they get input in the order till the moment they are invoiced or cancelled (status 99)

Every time a user enters the order lines in change mode there is a record in OSASTD

there are cases where you do not see the lines in this table, if i remember well it is when the line goes to status 66 and then for some reason it is deleted to status 99.. If this happens on the same day then you do not see it in OSASTD ( i encountered this issue sometimes)

The lines are created in OSBSTD (Sales Statistics) when the order line is delivered (status 66) and it will change when the status turns to 77 adding the invoice number..

In our reports i use OSASTD for the "order intake of the month" (there are a lot of substantial changes in our customer orders, we cannot just use OOHEAD or OOLINE) and OSBSTD for sales records.

Thank you. That was my understanding also, however i couldn't figure out why we had an entry for a line that was a status of 77.

Maybe if your order was registered on the same day of the final invoice you can see only the final status 77 and not all the intermediate status.

I never had those cases... our orders take months to be completed :-)

Check OIS980 and make sure you do not have anything stuck.
