Current LN does now allow for reworking a serialized item to a new revision, if you try using the "Rework to Existing Spec" on an item that was built to a previous revision that is no longer effective an error message appears and you are not able to release the rework production order.
This enhancement request is to change "Rework to New Specification" from a new part number to a new part number/revision combination. Reworking items to a new revision is common at our organization so this improvement would be welcomed, please consider endorsing this ER if you could also benefit from it.
