Scheduling a report from list view with filter on date = today()

I am trying to schedule a report from personalized view and need to add filter for a date field to be equal to today, how can i proceed with that?

I have found several questions with responses on that in Infor Communities, however, they are referencing adding derived field and those screenshots look different from current view on personalization or create reports.

Additionally, i have tried adding formula myself, however, i am receiving the error that access to use today() is not provided. "Access to Native Method 'today()' has not been granted for use in this context. today())

How can we schedule a report with a filter on date without having to customize the date manually?

Yep, Don nailed it. Here are the full options depending on your needs:

[system] current [(corporate | user)] date

Since you are comparing to a time stamp, the Date can get interesting depending on the time zone you want to define the date as.

Using system will use the jvm's time, typically GMT.

corporate will use your corporate time zone settings to use that time zone.

I'm fuzzy on user in this context since this is a scheduled report. It may capture the user's time zone of who scheduled it. Not sure off-hand.

current date or current corporate date will likely suffice.

Don, that helps a lot. Do you have the most current reference guide for filter formulas to use in personalization in list views?

Do you have a guide that you can reference that will give other hints on formulas? For example, next one is that i want to filter on text field that contains word 'active'.

There you'll find "Examples by use case" and "Examples by component"

thank you for directing me to the guide.

To figure out how to navigate the guide, could you please direct me where on the guide

it covers the filtering option by contains? I believe that contains function is correct for Infor list reports.

I am using the field 'AllChangedFieldsDetailed from Business Class Position Export and it does not like it in the filter formula.

Please advise.
