P45's not available to email using 2.96.00 VFP

Good morning, anybody know of any issues with Opera3 VFP 2.96.00 and emailing P45's ? Had a couple of customers now who can't email. When you go to email Opera does not think any P45's need to be emailed. The work-a-round is to go to the employee, untick email. Re-run P45's (printed version) and then publish to email Just about to pull the data down and test on 2.96.10.

Hi Rick, yes we've noticed this again recently - I thought that this was suppose to be fixed in v2.94.00?

I've had a couple of customers call me regarding this. Both occasions there was email payslips still sitting not cleared down in check email status, cleared that then the P45s went ok.

Its the P60s. These must be cleared down after they were emailed out otherwise it prevents you from emailing a P45. We have logged this with Pegasus but couldn't get them to accept it as an issue. I fail to understand why you can email a payslip if you haven't cleared the P60s but not a P45.

I relay everything Richard and aaherne have said, every time we have to this it was due to the "Email Status" report not being cleared down :-)

Melissa, running the check email status for the payslips then allowed us email the P45. Thanks for the heads up. Assume this is a code change in 2.96

It has proved very useful.

I was literally just investigating an issue where attempting to email payslips was saying "No data found" when clearly there were payslips to be emailed.

I ran Check Email Status, cleared down the outstanding emails, and..... bingo, the email payslips worked

I designed the Opera 3 Email Payslips function, and don't recall outstanding emails preventing further emails from being sent.

Maybe my memory fails me, or Pegasus have made a subsequent softwre change.
