'Locked' Allocation

I have an issue where in MMS002 the on hand information shows a quantity allocated on an item (In the ALQT field)

In MWS068 all stock is showing as allocatable.

In MMS080 no orders are outstanding that the stock would be allocated against.

In MMS120 no allocations exist.

The system will not allow the qty of stock to be allocated. For example if I have 1000 on stock and the quantity showing as allocated in MMS002 is 250, If we try to allocate 800 we are unable to as the system says allocation qty is greater than available.

Has anybody ever come across this and knows a fix?

Hello Paul,

Please confirm if you are not using Soft allocation. Also check stock in MMS081 for any reserved qty.

You can try to run MWS980 to check if quantities are correct.

Also Run MWS980 Item per warehosue Analyze and Repair if these items are not allocated or reserved anywhere.
