Managing evidence of insurability (EOI) has been difficult for my organization since we went live on Infor HR Talent. A few years ago, I submitted enhancement request 63739 but it has since been archived. We have the need to setup EOI rules per life event rather than current state, which allows entry only on the benefit plan. For example, we allow more days for an employee to submit their supplemental life insurance coverage and receive guarantee issue than our existing employees who move to a newly eligible for benefits status. We manually manage life events by communicating with employees to let me know what their actual EOI amount is. We have a custom process to adjust the EOI amount and aren't always able to communicate with the employee before they submit EOI to our life insurance company. Please review and support enhancement request 109921 if you have a similar need.
We require additional configuration ability on the guarantee issue limit as well so that we can choose the greater value of salary multiple or amount. I submitted a separate enhancement request for this and believe Infor is working on this in the October CU. I mention this as we've been needing a revamp of the whole evidence of insurability setup/process to allow for more complex policy around EOI and hope that others support a larger process review as well.
