How to Create IPS for Programs with Related options?

Hi,

I would like to add records within the related program using IPS. Is this possible? I tried but doesn't seem to work. There is no error, but record is not created.

I think PPS280MI does the trick for you. PPS280MI.AddElement and PPS280MI.AddElementValue

I tried, But it doesn't have a field Costing Sub model (IJWSCA) which is entered via PPS282. We have thousands of records with this field to be udpated.

Oh I see. In my experience IPS is not working a lot of times, when you need related option and hits a program that only have a B-panel. An alternative solution is XtendM3 with a wrap around PPS280MI.AddElementValue. Maybe also a script could do this with automation.

Thanks for your response. We do not want to use XTend m3 yet. Note: PPS282 has B and E panel.
