WH130 not printing a Kill line-one item ordered-zero inventory
Legacy Contributor
We have always noticed that the WH130 does not print anything if only one item is ordered and inventory is zero even though the flag for "include kills" is Y on the paramenter. We are beginning a new ordering process where this could be a bigger issue. Does anyone else have this issue? Is there perhaps something else I need to do to make a WH130 print just the kill line in this instance?

We have this issue. Probably everyone does. The system automatically closes the req if the only item on it is killed due to zero stock on hand. With no other demand there's nothing to print on the pick list. I recommend running IC243 (Killed Item Report) on occasion in your warehouse process to see what's been killed.

In addition to that report, we built a Smart Note that notifies the storeroom folks that the req line was killed.

Nice. I've been trying to get our IT folks to implement Smart Notes for years. Always seems to be competing priorities that knock that project down on the list.
