Change Effective Dates in Mass

Does anyone have experience with changing effective dates in mass? Our HRIS team recently did an ISD load for Change Pay Rate on Work Assignment of 4,000+ records but used an incorrect effective date. We have posed this question to the Infor customer portal page and are waiting on a response so thought I would ask the question here also. Hoping they do not have to one-by-one conduct a Change Effective Date in the Audit Log List. Thanks for any help.

are the incorrect effective dates in the future? or in the past? simplest solution may just be to repeat the upload with the same effective dates but the previous pay rates. Then proceed with repeating the original upload, but this time with the correct effective date. It's hard to say without knowing if these are future async records or processed historical records. Curious to hear what other approaches could be considered here.

If they are future dated, you should be able to delete them from the Effective Dated Request in Async. If not, what Judy Otto says, sounds like a plan. Sorry to hear this, I feel for you.

If they're future-dated, you can also remove them in Async via Effective Dated Requests.

If they're in the past, we haven't been able to accurately do this either. We currently have to 'revert' profiles by setting the affected values back to what they previously were and then reprocess them with the intended changes. Unfortunately, this leads to three audit records for a single transaction. "Undoing" terminations, transfer & promotions makes reporting exceedingly difficult because of this.

It's not fun, but if you have no other options then you can start with the 4,000 records you just loaded, query their values with an effective date of the load date you're trying to correct minus one. That should give you the most-recent payrate and allow you to load in a correction with the same effective date you used in error. This will look messy but should work in a pinch. You can then reprocess the intended changes with the correct effective date.
