Supply Chain Inventory Management ER - Please Vote!
Inventory Information Days on Hand calculation currently includes transactions that include Issue, Transfer and Adjustment document type records to calculate Days on Hand based on 7 days, 30 days, 90 days and 365-days usage.
From an inventory management perspective, CMH considers usage to be restricted to supplies that were distributed to the end user or department where the supply is used for patient care / operational support, and as such should not include Transfers (Inventory to Inventory) or Adjustment transactions/document type records. Other organizations may want to include Transfers, there should be a flag to identify which document type records are included in the Days on Hand usage calculations.
