Printing to an Excel - how to get the same column headers as on PDF (2 phrases)

Hi,

Am working to get my users the FAS530 report in proper Excel format and with the option to show leading zero's. In itself that works ok but there is one issue I'd like to solve. The column headers as they show in the PDF are built of two phrases, in the CSV output only one of these is showing. Can any of you tell me how to get this solved?

I'd set it to overriding name and manually set it to what you want. Don't think CSV likes the two-line name.

Hi Elise, Yes, that works for the Excel, thanks for this tip.

Not the nicest solution though (in the Infor design). The fields is fairly small so the full text normally in the two fields combined won't fit which makes it a bit hard to keep proper for both XML and PDF. This way we also have to do the translations ourselves.

Agree! Not sure if there's a way to make csv take the two lines tho.
Other thing I didn't test was whether you can use an escape character like
or <br> or <br/> to force a line break. Worth a try if you really want it to span two lines in the header.

with the limited amount of chars in that field...I will not even try that. For Infor to concatenate the two fields in Excel would be nice.

Might try an ER on this subject.
