we are still on prem (LN 10.7 with Tools 10.8) and are validating our topics to get cloud ready.
One big topic is the SSRS replacement with Infor reporting and the report designer.
The biggest pain point for us with the report designer is that there is no option to hold together layout groups, which should stay together on the same page.
Currently we use SSRS as on premise reporting tool where you can specify that some lines should stick together on the same page. So SSRS is calculating if they will fit on the current page to be printed and if they don't it will create a page break before.
If you have lets say a purchase-order and in the detail line you tell the supplier about the item like item name / description / quantity /price and so on. And afterwards you have some text blocks to print. All these lines need to be together on the SAME PAGE. Find attached an Example of our SSRS (_SSRS.pdf) left and one of Report Designer (_RD.pdf) on the right side.
