Is anyone using the Backflush Issue Method and having issues with expired products being consumed in the consumption locations? Looking for options to remedy this other than moving to direct issue.

The Backflush Issue Method in Infor M3 is a common method for automating material consumption based on production activities. However, dealing with expired products being consumed during this process can be a challenge because backflushing doesn't inherently check the expiration status of materials—it simply consumes materials based on pre-defined locations or product structures.
Here seems one option to address this without moving to a direct issue process:

In cloud version, You may create & schedule a Night Job in (SHS100) for changing the status of an item :-
Scripts can also be explored for advance options as a secondary method.
We already are using the scheduled reclass. How do you suggest we do the below?
