Hello Customer Community,
Please support enhancement 112662 for the Change Event Date action that will be available to Benefits Administrators in the October 24 CU to change life event dates.
Summary: An enhancement will be released in the October 24 CU to provide benefit administrators with functionality to change an event date on benefits life events for employees who may have entered the incorrect date when creating a life event. The new Change Event Date action does not carry over changes or elections made from the originating life event.
Proposed Solution: Add functionality to the Change Event Date action to carry over selections from the originating life event to the new life event.
Business Impact: Benefits administrators typically do not find out that employees have created a life event with an incorrect date until the event is submitted and the benefit administrator is reviewing the event for accuracy prior to finalization. Benefit Administrators can use the Change Event Date action to create a new life event with the correct effective date. The employee must re-select all their prior selections submitted in the originating event, or the benefits administrator must manually make those prior selections on the newly created event. This causes duplication and manual work by the employee or benefits manager.
Workaround: The benefit administrator records the selections from the originating event, then changes the event date or creates a new life event, then enters the selections to the new life event.
Thank you!
