Hello everybody,

I've heard of the FACETMI API for displaying statistics, but I can't find any documentation about it.

I would like to know where the tables and associated facets are defined, and if it can be used in widgets (I saw that it is used in Top Suppliers for example)

Have you got any informations about it please ?

In M3 CE 16.0.0 facets are defined in the backend, not accessible to customers. Therefore, customers will have to create an enhancement request using KB KB1872520 if they need specific tables and fields to be used with FACETMI.

To check if facets exist for a table and which fields, you can run FACETMI for the table and enter a star (*) in the SQRY (Search query) field. Then you will get all facets (if any) in the company, provided you have data in the table. If many facets exist for the table, you may not get all facets in the result due to the limitation of max records. Then you can specify the fields of interest in the FLNA (Filtering of field names) field or by limiting the search query, to check if there is any result.

You can test FACETMI via the OS->API Gateway or via M3->Administration Tools ->M3 Metadata Publisher (MDP). In MDP you select M3 API Repository->Test API.
