I have worked with Lawson Process Flow and IPAs for years but am new to Infor CloudSuite.  We have an interface which is sending supervisors to another system, and supervisors with an effective date in the future are being sent.  What is the difference between the as of dat and the effective date?

I typically use as-of-date.  If you need to see the state of any business class 7 days in the past or 7 days days in the future (for instance), you can set the as-of-date in the Landmark call for any business class to see how the system will look on any specific day.  I do not think that using effective date will show you future dated records. The effective date would simply return records where the effective date equals whatever value you provide.  Given your need to send supervisors with a future dated effective date, I would suggest using as-of-date.
