Anyone have a trick to change the width of a text area box on an action form?

I can change the height of a text area on an action form with (for example) use text area of 20 lines.

The configuration console editor accepts show up to 100 characters but it seems to have no effect.

Anyone know of any tricks to get a wider text box?

One thing to check is if the field itself was in some sort of two column (or more) container vs. simply being in a top-level paragraph. I say this as I think a text box should span across it's entire container's width.  In an action form then a top-level paragraph's "container" is the modal's width.
