PO Changes after receipt

Hi!

PO line changes are not allowed if the PO line status is above 20. Undoing a confirmation/tracking is time consuming but doable, after receipt/put away (sts 50-75) is where it becomes a problem.

Does anyone know of a way or has anyone had a customization to allow PO changes despite the PO line status?

What's the motive for reprinting the PO? Vendor wants a copy that matches exactly? No, you can't and shouldn't. Confirmed price (if there is one) will drive your received cost. If you edited the price after receipt, you change the cost of that transaction and would want to redo the transaction. Else, just accept the difference when matching to an invoice and book to PPV.

What kind of changes? Note that transactions like Confirmation or Advise Shipment will "manipulate" the price and quantity when it comes to invoice matching. Meaning, if you're needing to edit a PO line because you whiffed on the price, reconfirming the PO with the correct price will do just the same. Logically you shouldn't be able to adjust something like price after receipt, so there is some value in having to unwind the order. Again, maybe need more info on what you're editing.

It's just the price we need to modify, nothing else.
I can't run confirmation again after receipt, and the confirmation price won't change the PO print out.
