Has Anyone Had Experience With Integrating PO's from McKesson to Infor

This is a more generic question around if anyone has experience with integrating PO's out of McKesson into Infor. Not getting anywhere with McKesson's Third Party Integration support team. Looking for ways to export PO data out of McKesson via API calls, export tool, etc. Has anyone done this before with McKesson? EDI maybe?

If you are inquiring about punchout functionality, we just implemented that as of 12/2/24.

McKesson Med Surg or McKesson Connect (pharmacy)? We have integrations with both and would be happy to discuss.

Hi Mychele. Our punchout integration is solely with McKesson Med Surg. We just went live with it this week as of 12/2, so we don't even have a full cycle of orders that have been processed and received yet to determine that the process does not have any bugs in it. Happy to schedule something in a week or two if that works for you?

Hi Mychele,

I would really like to discuss this with you. It is with McKesson Connect (pharmacy) items only. Pharmacy places orders (PO's) in McKesson via Connect and we would like to export/interface these PO's with Infor so they can be paid in Infor (invoice matched). I am free anytime this week or next if you have 30 minutes or so to connect.

Andrew, unfortunately, we are not using punchout at this time. Just trying to get PO information out of McKesson into Infor FSM via the PO Interface.

Have you made any progress importing pharmacy POs into Infor?

We are considering doing the same, but for different reasons. Our interest is in managing drug recalls using Item Lifecycle Management (ILM).

Our source would be different, but if you're using Infor APIs to import the POs, the process would be similar. The main difference is that we need to import our POs as historical, as they have already been received and paid. The POs need to be in Infor so that ILM can query our drug purchases to see if any items have been recalled.

Hi,

We are still in the process of making this work. Working with McKesson on using EDI PO ACK (855) to create a PO via the PO Interface (Import) in Infor. No API's. Still working on the IPA flow to extract the data from the 855 to create a valid PO in the system. 855 is placed by McKesson on our FTP site. Might use 855 to acknowledge the PO we create from it. 855 comes into Infor via EDI and we create the PO off of that and use that PO to compare against the 855. Keep you posted once we get 100% there. Long process. Running into this issue as well concerning pharmacy items.

Can We Enter Lot and Expiration Date During Receiving for a Par Location?

For Expiration Date tracking, the requirements include that the item must be Inventory Tracked (cannot use with a non-stock items) and at the item location (of the perpetual inventory location) the item must be flagged as Lot Tracked At Receipt. Lot Tracking is required to track expiration dates in FSM. You cannot use serial tracking with the expiration date.

So if you want a Par Location store the item, you would have to first bring it into a perpetual location with the setup above and that par location would get replenished from stock.
