Empty Location Physical Inventory

Is it possible to create a physical inventory in MMS300 that only counts empty locations? I have read some documentation that talks about it but I can't see any field when creating a count that would limit it to only empty locations.

My experience is with M3 13.4 onprem. There is no option in this version to select only the empty locations. However, when you are creating the physical inventory, if you do the selection criteria as Location based, you will get the empty locations in the warehouse as well (along with lot level details).

But not sure whether this has enhanced in the Cloud.

HI Paul, I am not sure in what version you are, but in M3 CE, there is an option in MMS300 when you create the inventory list to select locations having the number of balance ids in MMS010 set to zero. This all depends on your setup, but for us it works to do this selection.

These indicators don't always work perfectly, so I will advise to run MWS990 - Balance id Reset for MITPCE via MITLOC, to recalculate this for your locations. See example in the selection below from the selection screen MMS300/I. Hope it works for you.
