View Only FSM Report

We have many list view reports, and I'm wondering if there is a way to restrict a list view report to view only if the person has access to edit the value when using the application. An example would be if we create a report on a Purchasing Vendor, and someone double-clicks on the line of data and opens that form in FSM. We don't want people to be able to edit the information via that link from the report. Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes, again, you would need to edit the LPL for your list report and add the line "open action is restricted".

You can also disable all actions, including saved searches and printing, by adding " disable all actions" to the list report. This does not restrict the single or double click to open a row or multi-select, that is done with the open action code.

Hi.

List view reports inherit the actions from the parent list/form/page that the report was created from.

You can edit the LPL on your report and remove/edit what actions should be allowed.

Another tip would be to review the business class user interfaces to select the best list/form/page that fits your business need when creating the view report. Of course, this is only helpful if the user has access rights to the config console.

Thank you Becca. I guess my main ask is can you make it though that you can't double click on a row of data on a list view from a report so that you can't even get to the parent list/form/page.
