Please support our ER that requests to activate "Next", "Select" and "Back" button on FT via barcode scanning.
It will avoid a lot of manual screen touch after barcode scan and improve productivity at warehouse/shop floor.

we also use Factory Track and i agree with you, it can be a useful development. At the moment we have the special characters included in the bar code of the items in order to move to the next field (not for factory track but for a time reporting solution) and those are already helpful. Did you already try to create Bar codes only for the $M character and see if the factory track device is recognizing them?
Our FT responsible said, we have $M in a lot of place configured FT to jump to next field, but not in the barcode.
I'm not presently using Factory Track, but $M is a carriage return. It may be possible to program your scanners to automatically add the carriage return. And I just endorsed the ER.
