Benefit Cycles Remaining Should Look at Benefit Enrollment Start Date rather than Date in Input

We have a few benefit plans that rely on the Benefit Cycles Remaining calculation within our payment schedules. We have our benefit cycles remaining set up correctly, but when inputting a benefit enrollment, the cycles remaining field on the benefit enrollment screen gets populated based on the benefit cycles remaining field from the DATE OF INPUT, rather than the benefit enrollment start date. IE, we have our benefit cycles remaining set up to show 26 pay periods remaining from December 30th, 2024 - January 12th, 2025, and 25 pay periods from January 13th, 2025 - January 26th. If I as a Benefit Administrator add a benefit plan enrollment to an employee with a start date of January 1st, but I add the enrollment on January 14th, the cycles remaining will calculate as 25 pay periods rather than 26.
