Approver Users Setting Up Proxies

Hello all!

Since we've been live, over 4 years now, I've always setup Proxies for Approver Users - pfiProxy. 

Is it possible for the Proxied user to setup a Proxy on their own instead of having to reach out to me to set it up?

Because as you know, Approvers may forget to reach out for me to create a Proxy which then leaves Requisition waiting for approval for days or weeks.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

We allow our approvers to modify their proxy.  As part of the set up of the approver, we set the person who is the next level in their area to be their automatic proxy.  We set the effective dates to dates in the past.  When the approver is going to be out of the office, they simply need to modify the dates.   We have not made any custom LPL changes to do this.  We have assigned to them in security the Approver_ST role and the ProxyGrantorAccess_ST role that we have modified to only allow the user to edit the effective dates of the Proxy.  Now the only time we have to intervene is when they forget to set their proxy.  I hope this helps.
