Infor ION/LN: Workflow Progress/ Status Widgets

There are some default widgets available to track the progress of a workflow, however, from the first glance it looks like it only works for as long as the task is in your queue. Has anyone found a way for users to track tasks in the workflow even when it is no longer in their queue? This would provide more visibility for users and track approvers. 

Has anyone tried using workflow authorizations for this purpose?

Hi, we're using workflow authorizations for this through the task watcher widget, the only issue I see is that it allows any user within the permission group to view other user's tasks within the workflows. Depending on the object in the workflow's, this may not always be ideal if there is sensitive data involved.
