Summary:
The payroll process has a action on the Payment Schedule BC to call an action request via Employee Payment BC. The action is to ReplicatePayrollData and creates an async action request to replicate COL_CLOSEPAYROLL_ST. This async action request is using the actor id who ran the initial close payroll process. All subsequent close payroll processes that call that async action request will show the initial actor id, regardless of who is running payroll close.
Business Impact:
When viewing records and actors action in async, the data is misrepresented as the actor who actually ran the process is not the actor showing in async. To accurately report, we were instructed to do a db export of the replication bc. This would be limited to a few IT employees, and would limit who and when the business can present reports to auditors.
