did anyone have a solution for a multi-national country to use different languages for the jobs page?
Is this only possible in the candidate space or did you manage to build it into Candidate Experience?

The way we were able to do this was to add "&csk.IsoLocale=es_MX" to the end of the URL for the job board:
Be sure that the language information you put at the end matches the language code you load exactly - originally we used IsoLocale=es but were loading es_MX and it caused issues where certain translated values were not loading correctly.
It would be really nice for a candidate to have a select box in the upper right-corner so they could choose their language. One of the downstream impacts we have seen is that, because a candidate's preferred language is not stored, when going to send them an email, if preferred language is set to Candidate locale, it defaults to English and can't be fixed. Hope that helps a bit - TA (especially candidate facing) is pretty clunky when trying to do the same thing in different languages.

Yes, totally agree regarding the candidate language. If you are able to change it manually, it should be quite easily possible to do it via an automation as well as you have it with the employee. Plus, if you can select Candidate local, why would this not exist in the candidate registration. I have endorsed your and all other fitting requisitions.
It's hard to believe this has not been solved as many international companies seem to use Infor. We will need for the full roll-put probably around 15 languages min.

Glad it was helpful - the add to the URL was neither programming nor standard configuration in the system, it was manually adding it to the end, then providing that URL to our teams in Mexico to use on their careers page.
On candidate locale, part of the issue is that there is no ability to change the default at all, for anyone. SO frustrating - there are about 10 ways I could think of to gather that information, it's just none of them have been done. Appreciate the endorsements!
We're using 7 different languages right now - one thing that we found for Malay was that, even though the HCM product supported, Mingle at a broader level did NOT, so be sure to check the drop down menu when setting language to be sure the 15 you need are there - I think they're working on getting Malay added, but know it will take some time. In the mean time, we are manually auditing and updating their locale directly on their Actor records.
