MTD values changing on commit (2.99.03)

Hello everybody,

Has anybody else had issues with the calculated MTD values changing when commit is selected?
Customer (SQL SE) has a linked subsidiary vat company and they validated the values showing on MTD before they hit commit, but the values changed - in two separate companies vat returns.
We don't have MTD on demo data, so it's really hard to test. Just wondering if anybody else has come across it?
Variance on one company was a Feb invoice posted in March. Vat return was for quarter to 28/02 and MTD values were reconciled at beginning of April.
I don't know if it's a one off, or should be reported to Pegasus.

Hi Alison

We had something similar a little while back were each time you opened the MTD VAT centre it would re-add the transactions from the nvat table this was fixed in 2.98.00.

Not sure if this is the same issue you are getting.

Not sure if this is related... but we had an issue the other day SE 2.99.01 where the whole of March (3rd mth of the qtr) VAT values were missing from the MTD centre figures. Un-commited and not to do with the commit button.

We ran the summary vat report. This included the March figures. But, re-open MTD and they were still missing!

I logged onto their server and logged into Opera as the user. MTD correctly included the March figures.

Back to the client machine, back into Opera and MTD and the March figures are now included. Very strange.

This occurred for both of their companies. These two companies have separate VAT reg so not linked.

I'm yet to log this with Pegasus.

Thanks Michael. I'll ask them to check MTD a few times. I don't want to wait until next vat return is due

oh, that does not look good John.
Thanks for the update - I think I'll log this customer's issue with Pegasus, and suggest you do the same. We can let them test it.
