Hi - Is there a way to filter out reports that have been inactivated from displaying in the report catalog?
Can you say more about what exactly was inactivated, and how?
Sure! Traditionally we have a small administrative team that develops reports for staff based on requirements. We have always done this using Configuration Console and then permissioned the reports using actor groups. If we ever needed to deactivate a report we would did it in Config Console by pressing the "Deactivate" button and the user would lose access to it. That process doesn't seem to work with the Report Catalog. I have deactivated reports in Config Console that are still showing in the report catalog.
Could you look up the status of that same report in Report Definition (navigate via Admin Console)?
Sure thing. It looks like they aren't synced in Config Console and Admin Console>Report Management
