Hi everyone, I've got a situation where an existing Opera user is getting a message when they are accessing the MTD Centre.
'A communication failure between Opera 3 and HMRC has occurred (S500). There are several reasons why this can happen.'
We've re-loaded, tried a different PC - same message, and even spoken with HMRC to check the gateway isn't down.
I've logged a ticket with Support but time is running out. They've sent me instructions about checking Scheduler on the Server (2019 btw) and this hasn't worked - its not the same error tbh.
Support have also asked if there are any firewall rules etc, I've checked that port 443 is open on their firewall and their AV product hasn't changed in 12+months.
I've logged in on the Server rather than the user's PC and it comes up with the same message. If I log in as a different user then I get the Authorisation needs to be completed message instead, but this also fails with a different response from HMRC saying 'You cannot access the service from this page'.
Their HMRC account is valid/working as I've logged into it from the Server (as administrator). The only thing that's happened recently is they've had their Payroll Upgrade (2.99.03).
Any help would be appreciated as I'm running out of ideas - and time!
