FACTS 7.7 Help Menu Installation/setup

Is there any documentation out there for installing and setting up the new help menu system? I know there is a tab in System Control F/M for this, and I believe there is a setup.exe in the ERP_FACTS_7_7_Help_System.iso download file, but beyond that, I'm not seeing much in the way of documentation on this.

As I understand it, you could (in theory) have your help text on a different server than where you have FACTS 7.7 installed.

During the technical training I asked a question related to having the help on a separate server and got a positive response. Infor does not, however, plan to host the help files, so you have to be responsible for their maintenance.

Just an aside, on the FACTS MUSTANG link, if you scroll down looking for FACTS7.7 Online Help it has a link to a file that did not ship properly in the media iso.

I tried to install the help today and am not sure how to proceed. I am running Facts77 on a Linux system, but the help file is setup.exe, only runs in windows.
So I installed it on a Windows box that has the WindX client running. I place the name of the computer and the share name into the "Help text" tab in System F/M. Doesn't work.

So I installed the help files to the Linux server via samba I told setup.exe to install the help under the /infor directory on the Linux server, and put that as the location for the help files in System Control F/M, still doesn't work. Tried /infor/FACTSOutput, and that didn't work, either.

There is a FACTS KB out there dealing with help setup. I'm e-mailing it to you now. The solution also had a hyperlink to the SMTHLP that went out empty on the 7.7.0 installation media.

Got my answer, the path name in System Control F/M must be relative to the CLIENT, not the SERVER.
