Lawson #'s for tracking only

Do other's have Lawson #'s set up for tracking purposes only? If so, how do you build them in your system? We have some items set up with Reorder Code set to No Document Created, but it seems as though these have been ordered. Is there something else that needs done?

How are the items tracked? Inventory tracked? Lot/Serial tracked?

Jon-We're looking to add items into the system that our valves so we want to track them in GE Centricity as an implant, but we order them as part of a kit. How can we be sure that the valve itself doesn't get ordered individually?

That Reorder tab only applies to Inventory tracked items for automating the reorder process. If you make the Allow Receipts flag = N on the Main tab in IC12 it will prevent the item from being added to a req or PO. In RQ10/RQC the end user will get a message saying- PO cannot be created, allow receipts = "N". Or in PO20 your buyers will get- Item location does not allow receipts.
